This is the shocking moment a convoy of horse sulkys and vehicles were spotted racing down one of Dublin's busiest commuter routes.
Footage taken from an overhead bridge has emerged of the baffling scenes near Brownsbarn in Citywest.
Cheers can be heard for a horse that appears to be named Starlight, while dozens of passengers reach out of windows to watch the race take place.
The usual evening traffic can be seen slowly moving behind the race, which took up all lanes of the busy route as over 20 cars and vans followed closely.
It passes by the exit that leads to the Circle K Citywest, before making its way toward the Naas Road and Newland's Cross.
