Disney+ viewers have just one month left to view the streaming service before a dreaded price hike.
The US owned platform previously announced price charges were coming into effect. The measure occurs as a result of mounting pressure on the platform alongside its rivals such as Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Disney+ notified Irish customers via email of the upcoming change. Prices will move from €8.99 to €10.99 for customers after December 10.

Anyone who now joins the platform must pay the newly introduced charge. However, customers may eventually be able to find a cheaper alternative through an upcoming ad-supported subscription.
A €5.99 ad-supported plan will be rolled out in countries such as the UK but there are no current plans to bring the model to Ireland. Viewers on this subscription model will have programmes interrupted briefly by ads.
