Dublin Airport have said they are hoping to improve the plane spotting experience for people and shared a mock up of how it might look.
The most popular viewing spot is located right along the older runway which has been in place since 1989. Plane spotters park up along the Old Airport Road near Na Fianna's Collinstown pitches to watch planes on the runway.
The airport took to social media to show the mockup of how the new viewing point could look. They're encouraging those who have used the current plane viewing area to give their feedback.

They said: "Dublin Airport is currently exploring potential options to improve viewing options for plane spotters around the airport. Here's one mock-up of what such a facility could look like. Would you use it?"
Many shared their opinions, with some suggesting that the travel hub should focus on establishing a train station first. But Dublin Airport pointed out that they have no control about the establishment of a rail link - but are fully prepared to build a station should the day come.
While others pointed out that those who partake in other, more x-rated, activities would need consideration. To which Dublin Airport responded: "We know it’s called X now, Gary, but there are other apps that would probably be better for organising that sort of thing."
Influencer James Kavanagh shared his surprise that plane spotters exist, and Dublin Airport was very quick to retort, saying: "Plane spotters might say the same about influencers."
