A beloved coffee spot has thanked its customers after announcing its permanent closure on Sunday.
Box'd Coffee has operated in Goatstown since 2020. The business also has a Milltown hub which will remain unaffected by the shutdown.
Staff took to social media to confirm the Goatstown coffee spot had ceased trading. Box'd boasted outdoor seating and became a popular haunt for locals to nab a caffeine fix.

The team wrote on Instagram: "We’d like to thank all of our loyal customers who have visited our Goatstown location since we opened in 2020! It’s been an amazing couple of years and we’ve loved getting to know each and every one of you!"
They added: "A special shoutout to the team who have worked with us in Goatstown over the past two years. Since opening as a drive thru shop in November 2020 we have gained some amazing friends."
Staff reassured customers that the Milltown branch would keep trading. People took to social media to voice their disappointment about the Goatstown closure.
One person wrote: "One of the few good things to remain post lockdown. We’ll miss all the treats and smiling faces up there."
While another added: "The best sambos around."
