Hollywood legends Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci are set to attend the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival next month.
They will join this year's virtual festival for a post-show discussion after the Opening Gala presentation of moving drama Supernova.
The Dublin International Film Festival will move entirely online this year because of COVID-19.
The event is set to take place from Wednesday, March 3 to Sunday, March 14.
They will show the best of new films and old classics, via Festival screening portal Eventive.
Gráinne Humphreys, Festival Director said: “It has been a very different selection process this year, but as we finally announce the programme I’m extremely proud of this year’s line-up.
"There are some lovely premieres and previews, some old favourites and some wonderful discoveries and debuts from around the world.
"I hope that this year’s programme will excite and delight both our regular attendees and attract new audiences to this year’s celebration of the best of independent cinema.
"It’s been a long climb to get here – but we believe the view is worth it."
This year VMDIFF will present an impressive seven programmes of Irish and international Shorts, including Screen Ireland Short Film Selection, a Young Audiences selection and the Warner Media LGBTQ selection, as well as hosting the Virgin Media Discovers Short Film Competition, in association with Screen Ireland.
Festival audiences will also get exclusive opportunities to watch some of the most anticipated films of 2021 including Ammonite, My New York Story and Minari.
Audiences can also look forward to an exciting post screening Q&As. The festival will welcome Walter Fasano to talk about his charming documentary Pino about artist Pino Pascali, and star of My Little Sister , Nina Hoss, who will take part in a Q&A after the screening.
Normal People's Paul Mescal is also expected to attend the event as he is starring in Drifting , one of the short films chosen for the festival.
The movie's co-director and co-writer Robert Higgins tweeted: “Delighted to have ‘ Drifting ’ screening as part of this year’s @DublinFilmFest. Been a regular attendee of the festival for years so it’s great to be screening at it for the first time!”
Drifting was filmed in Longford in 2019, and was written, produced and directed by Robert Higgins and Patrick McGivney.
Paul Mescal has recently been nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award. He received the nomination for Best Actor in a Limited Series category, for his role as Connell in Normal People.
