The number of TDs in the next Dail will rise by 14 to 174, with Dublin getting four new TDs, the Electoral Commission has announced.
The number of constituencies nationwide will rise from 39 to 43, while the capital will get a total of four new TDs after the next election.
Dublin Fingal will be split into two constituencies called Dublin Fingal East and Dublin Fingal West. They will have three TDs each.
Dublin Mid-West, Dublin West and Dublin Rathdown will all get one additional seat each while the remaining constituencies in the capital will remain the same.

Here are the Dublin changes recommended by the Electoral Commission:
- Dublin Central: 4
- Dublin Fingal East: 3 (n)
- Dublin Fingal West: 3 (n)
- Dublin Mid-West: 5 (+1)
- Dublin North-West: 3
- Dublin Rathdown: 4 (+1)
- Dublin South-Central: 4
- Dublin South-West: 5
- Dublin West: 5 (+1)
- Dublin Bay North: 5
- Dublin Bay South: 4
Other changes outside of Dublin include the establishment of a new constituency called Wicklow-Wexford, which will have three seats to represent the south of Wicklow and north of Wexford. Kildare North will get one additional TD to bring their total to five.
The changes will see every TD represent an average of 29,593 people, down from the current 32,182.
