Dean Rock celebrates daughter's birthday as he wins eighth All-Ireland title
Dean Rock admits he may have played his last game for Dublin as he won his eighth All-Ireland title on his daughter's first birthday.
Rock came off the bench to knock over a free for Dublin as they dethroned Kerry at Croke Park on Sunday.
And the occasion was all the better for the 33-year-old as it came on his daughter Sadie's first birthday.
He joked to RTE after the match: "I was in a much different place than this, this time last year that's for sure.
"It's a very special day for everyone involved and particularly for Sadie on her first birthday.
"It's pretty unique and special and a day we will never forget."
The Ballymun Kickhams man was asked if he deliberated on playing again for Dublin this season.
"You weigh it up the older you get," he said. "But you keep coming back for the group.
"As I've said before, you are born with a family and then you grow another family along the way through experiences.
"Sport, in particular for me, has been amazing. I'm getting married now in two weeks and James [McCarthy], Ciaran [Kilkenny] and John [Small] are my groomsmen.
"Going forward, that could be my last day in blue. I'll see how things play out in the winter, but it's been a magical time."

Dublin came with a big last quarter surge to dethrone Kerry and claim a historic All-Ireland victory.
By reclaiming the Sam Maguire Cup for the first time in three years, a trio of Dublin players - Stephen Cluxton, Mick Fitzsimons and captain James McCarthy - set a new record of nine All-Ireland medals.

Another star of yesteryear, Jack McCaffrey, also made a key contribution off the bench as the Kerry challenge faded after they led by three points in the 51st minute.
