Dublin's Moving Crib has confirmed its return for Christmas as it hurtles towards its seventh decade in operation.
The cherished Dublin holiday tradition has spanned 67 years. This year's attraction will operate from November 28 to January 7 at St Martin Apostolate on Parnell Square West, Dublin 1. The Moving Crib promises free, family-friendly enjoyment sure to enchant visitors of all generations.
The crib has wowed generations with its delightful, vintage nativity scene. Meticulously crafted figurines portray Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, shepherds, kings, and animals gathered around the manger.
Darragh Murphy, General Manager of the Saint Martin Apostolate, said: "The Moving Crib has been a beloved aspect of Dublin's Christmas for generations. We are delighted to once again invite families from both near and far to engage with the Christmas story in this distinctive manner.
"Christmas embodies community and unity, and for 67 years, The Moving Crib has nurtured that sense of togetherness. We extend an invitation to everyone to join us this season and partake in the marvel and happiness of Christmas."

The focal point of the crib is the gradual approach of the three wise men and their camels to the stable, mirroring the biblical story. The Moving Crib is easily reachable by both car and public transportation and is an ideal respite from the busy Christmas shops.
The event includes music, carol singing, and festive merriment, with the Bray Gospel Choir delivering soul-stirring renditions of cherished Christmas carols and gospel songs on December 10 from noon to 4 pm. Visitors are encouraged to join in and sing along to their favourite Yuletide tunes.
Families, schools, and community organisations are all welcome and admission is free, though any contributions to the charity are welcome to sustain the tradition for years to come. The Moving Crib is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., from November 28 to January 7, with some exceptions.
