Dunnes Stores have issued an urgent warning after detecting an undeclared product in one of their Simply Better pizzas, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland has announced.
One of the batches of the Dunnes Stores Simply Better Italian Calabrian Salami & Sausage Pizza was mispacked with Dunnes Stores Simply Better Italian Piccante Pizza. This product contains egg which is not declared in the list of ingredients, which may make the batch unsafe for customers who are allergic to or intolerant of eggs.
The affected batch is the Dunnes Stores Simply Better Italian Calabrian Salami & Sausage Pizza with pack size 510g. It has a best before date 05/24 and batch code L.A. 23236.

Egg allergy symptoms can include skin inflammation or hives — the most common egg allergy reaction, according to Mayo Clinic. As well as that, other symptoms include nasal congestion, runny nose and sneezing (allergic rhinitis), and digestive symptoms, such as cramps, nausea and vomiting.
