My Fair Lady will play at Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre from October 6 to 30 2022.
This will be the Irish premiere of this multi award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe’s much-loved classic as it makes its way from the West End to Dublin.
Fans can expect their favourite tunes from the show including I Could Have Danced All Night, Get Me to the Church on Time, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, On the Street Where You Live and The Rain in Spain.
Adapted from George Bernard Shaw’s play and Gabriel Pascal’s motion picture Pygmalion, live live show first premiered on Broadway in March 1956, winning 6 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
This production of the show, directed by Bartlett Sher, premiered in the spring of 2018 at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater and won the Tony Award for Best Costume Design.
Bartlett said of the show: "Getting a chance to revisit Shaw's extraordinary story of class and privilege in a new age is a rare and special event and I am thrilled to be able to take this epic musical on tour for audiences up and down the country to enjoy."
The cast is expected to be announced soon.
Tickets for My Fair Lady at Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre this October go on sale on Friday, March 11 at 9am and start at €21.
