The fifth Fingal Inclusion Week is set to take place across the county next week with a host of fun events for the whole family to enjoy.
The event is as an initiative of Fingal County Council’s Community Development Office in collaboration with the Fingal Integration Team. Inclusion week will showcase the great work being done by communities, agencies, and other groups in Fingal to eliminate social exclusion and poverty.
The week also aims to raise awareness of the hurdles that Fingal residents face that contribute to social exclusion, as well as to foster an understanding of inclusion in Fingal. Rush Senior Citizens, The African Advocacy Network Ireland, Lusk Ladies Shed, Bayside Community Centre, and Sanctuary Runners are among the collaborating organisations and community groups.
Fingal Inclusion Week will also give groups and services like Jigsaw North Fingal, North Dublin Regional Drugs Taskforce, Foroige, and Blanchardstown Centre for Independent Living a platform to tell people about their activities and how they can get involved.
