Speed vans and new safety camera zones in nearly 300 new Dublin locations will be introduced from today onwards.
Last week, Gardai released the 291 new locations in Dublin - where there is a history of speed related collisions - which come into play from 6am on 17 February.
The vans used will still be marked with high visibility, reflective material and display a safety camera symbol on the side.
All zones are available on the Garda website and available for GPS Navigation providers such as Garmin, TomTom, Google Maps or Waze to download.
All 291 new locations for Dublin and over 600 others around the country can be found on the Garda website here.
Gardai say: "Since 2010, we have contributed to making our roads safer through the use of safety cameras, using a service provider ‘GoSafe’ to operate them on its behalf.
"The primary purpose of safety cameras is to reduce speed related collisions, lessen injuries and save lives."
They added: "An Garda Síochána appeals to all road users, in particular motorists, to familiarise themselves with these sections of the road network.
"We also appeal to motorists to always drive at an appropriate speed, to reduce the likelihood of being involved in a fatal or serious collision."
GoSafe provide a minimum of 7,400 enforcement hours and a maximum of 100 survey hours per month across the country.
