Darndale is preparing to host one of the biggest Halloween celebrations in Dublin.
The Darndale Together After Dark Halloween Festival, spread across four venues on Tuesday, October 31 is an ideal Halloween celebration for all ages. Festival events will take place at the Sphere 17 regional youth facility, Darndale Belcamp Village Centre, Darndale Park and The Green.
A witches and warlocks cabaret at Sphere 17 from 4.30 pm will include live music from acclaimed band Shakalak, comedy and a best costume competition. Meanwhile, a lantern procession will proceed to Darndale Park in advance of a firework display at 7pm.

Darndale Implementation Oversight group chief Dr Jack Nolan said: “This event is a wonderful opportunity for everybody to have a super time at Halloween and should not be missed. Darndale Together After Dark will promote the area in a wonderfully positive light, as well as bringing great fun and colour.”
The festival is organised by Creative Places Darndale, the Arts Council sponsored project for the area, in partnership with Darndale Together, a community focused initiative of Dublin City Council overseen by the Darndale Implementation Oversight Group.
