Dublin have clinched their first All-Ireland title since 2020 after defeating Kerry 1-15 to 1-13.
The Dubs went in a point down at half-time after a goal by Paul Geaney in injury time gave the Kingdom a 1-04 to 0-06 lead. But the Dubs roared back and were level early in the second half thanks to a deflected strike from Paddy Small.
And despite Kerry storming back into the lead with three unanswered points, the Dubs roared back to tie the scores at 1-11 each. The peerless David Clifford was then among a number of Kerrymen to kick wides as the Kingdom squandered a number of chances.
Brian Fenton then put the Dubs a point ahead on 64 minutes - the first score from either side for 13 minutes of a tight contest. The lead lasted barely a minute before Killian Spillane tied things up with Kerry's first score since the 41st minute.
Small quickly put the Dubs back in front but a free from Seán O'Shea as the game moved into six minutes of injury time brought the sides level once again. Paul Mannion put the Dubs back in front with a close range point after Kerry goalkeeper Shane Ryan palmed out a goalbound shot from substitute Dean Rock with three minutes left on the clock. Rock then kicked over a free to ease the Dubs two points ahead and that was enough to see Sam return to the capital.
