Ireland's first ever rage room has opened in Ballyfermot.
It provides relief for individuals feeling stressed or frustrated, delivering therapeutic outcomes after an hour of enjoyable property damage. Participants receive protective gear and are granted access to sledgehammers and glass bottles to release their anger on unused machinery.
It serves as a place to unwind and, fittingly, let out your inner frustration. A speaker is available for selecting the perfect soundtrack for your venting session, and the items to smash range from glassware and crockery to printers, TVs, monitors, and copiers. Visitors can also bring their personal items for smashing if it adds to the cathartic experience.
And the Rage Room has partnered with a recycling company to ensure proper disposal of all debris.
A Rage Room session lasts for 20 minutes and accommodates one to three individuals. Participants will be equipped with the necessary gear for the experience. Inside the room, there are 25 small items and three medium items that can be smashed. The cost is €35 per person, and entry is restricted to those aged 18 and above.
For larger rooms, requests can be made via email. The Rage Room is open at Unit 5e, Kylemore Park North, from Wednesday to Friday, 5pm to 10pm, and on weekends from 11am to 9pm. Bookings can be made through their website.
