The Late Late Show's fifth episode is underway with Patrick Kielty-with first guests Brendan O'Carroll and Jason Byrne on the show.
Tonight's show first saw Patrick Kielty firstly discuss the much-anticipated Ireland v New Zealand Rugby World Cup match. He said: "We're all a bit giddy in the studio about the Ireland v New Zealand match. But we've not all got tickets or bedbugs, I heard the bedbugs are so big in France they have their own tickets!" joked Kielty.
He then welcomed Mrs Brown's Boys star Brendan O'Carroll and Dublin comedian Jason Byrne onto the Late Late Show. The unexpected duo discussed their comedy shows, as well as jokes about their heart stents .

Brendan O'Carroll chatted to Patrick about the return of his hugely popular Mrs Brown Rides Again show which is back on tour in the UK. Meanwhile, Jason Byrne joked that Scottish fans might not be happy to see him tomorrow night at his Aberdeen show after Ireland's win over Scotland in the Rugby World Cup last week.
The two comedians also shared a laugh about having heart stents, and the very different responses of their doctors.
But some RTE viewers weren't impressed at the comedy duo, as they bemoaned the show keeps bringing back the "same old guests". One person commented on Twitter: "I'm convinced the late late show just rounds up anyone who's let in the canteen after 6."
A second said: "Ah come on lads Brendan O'Carroll and Jason Byrne again? Late Late Show keeps letting on same old guests, nothing has changed. Very boring."
A third said: "Come on, #latelateshow let's get some decent guests for Paddy!"
A fourth added: "Oh the calibre of guests on The #latelateshow is pretty poor - watching Brendan O’Carroll & Jason Byrne is nearly as bad and cringy as embarrassing as Ireland losing to Greece …AGAIN!!"
But other viewers enjoyed to see the two Dubliners cracking jokes on tonight's show. One person said on Twitter: "I think Brendan and Jason are great, they bounce off each other. Great duo, love them both."
A second added: "Brendan O'Carroll is still the king of comedy in Ireland, can't wait to see him back as Mrs Brown. Jason put on a great performance at the Dublin Fringe Festival too."
