A man aged in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of prostitution and money laundering offences following a search operation in Dublin.
On Tuesday 28 November, gardai from the Organised Prostitution Investigation Unit seized cash, mobile phones and other items as part of an ongoing operation. The investigation is in relation to the organisation of prostitution, brothel keeping and money laundering in the greater Dublin area.
In a follow up search in north Dublin, Gardai seized €11,060 in cash as well as 13 mobile phones and various documents. One man aged in his 30s was arrested.

Gardai were assisted by the Garda Human Trafficking Investigation and Co-ordination Unit attached to the GNPSB.
A Garda spokesman said: "The man in his 30s arrested as part of this investigation is currently being detained in a Dublin city Garda station under organised crime legislation.
"During the course of a follow-up search in the North County Dublin area, €11,060 in cash was seized along with 13 mobile phones and various documents.
"This ongoing GNPSB investigation is focused on victim identification and intervention along with the dismantling of this transnational organised crime group through the removal and seizure of assets and the prosecution of members.
"Investigations are ongoing."
