Revenue officers unearthed one million illicit cigarettes at a commercial premises.
The cigarettes, worth €894,000, were discovered yesterday in North County Dublin. The cigarettes spanned various brands including Richmond, Mayflower and Marlboro Gold.
A man in his 70s was questioned in relation to the seizure. Investigations remain ongoing.

A Revenue spokesperson said: "Revenue officers seized over 1 million cigarettes following the search of a commercial premises under warrant in North County Dublin. The seizure was made with the assistance of detector dog Milo and with the support of members of An Garda Siochana."
