Ryan Tubridy met up with some "old pals" yesterday evening - including RTE legend Marty Whelan
The presenter enjoyed a drink with Marty, Eurovision executive Michael Kealy, and another friend. They grinned for a selfie, which Ryan later shared on his Instagram story.
He captioned the picture: "Great catching up with some old pals tonight," he captioned. This reunion occurred as Ryan recently announced securing a new radio show in the UK.
After leaving RTE earlier this year, he hinted at a potential move across the pond, having made several trips to London in recent months. His morning radio show on Virgin Radio is set to commence on January 4 and will also be broadcast on Dublin's Q102.

Discussing his impending move to London as he prepares for the show, Ryan, who has never lived outside Ireland, shared with Cork 96FM's Lorraine and Ross: "I am a total homebird; my dad used to say I would get homesick in Delgany. I am one of those people who just loves my creature comforts, so this was one of the big decisions and a big ask for me, and when I went over to London for the first couple of goes, I was going, 'eh, it's nice, but it's very big!'
"Then, about three or four trips later, I realised I loved it, I really did; I loved the anonymity; I loved the buzz of Virgin and the crowd in there; and I loved the city because I'm a total nerd, and it's nerd heaven over there. There is beautiful architecture, museums, bookshops, the West End, beautiful parks—it is never-ending.
"You would want to be a bit of a fool now to be bored in London," he concluded.
