The plush two-bedroom apartment rented by the late Sinead O’Connor before she tragically died is back on the market.
We can exclusively reveal the apartment that the late Nothing Compares 2 U singer lived in is available to rent four months after the star’s death. The two-bedroom penthouse flat in Brixton had been rented by the Bray hitmaker for £3,000 per calendar month.
But now Node Living is advertising the spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom home for €3,879 per calendar month. The advertisement read: “Experience contemporary city living in our stylish studio units at Node-Living London Brixton.

“Each studio is designed for comfort and convenience, and you’ll have access to our shared garden and residents’ lounge. Dive into London’s vibrant lifestyle at Node-Living.”
Sinead had only moved into the apartment a few weeks before she died. A final video she shared on social media before her tragic death showed the singer giving fans a tour of her new digs.
The mother-of-four felt “very happy to be home” in a video shot in her new flat on July 9. The social media video showed she was in the process of unpacking. Apologising for the mess, she laughed and called the modern flat messy because her belongings were on the surfaces.
But there were also jokes about putting Vaseline on her face to look after her skin and “beautiful” sun flowers, which her friend had bought as a housewarming gift, stood pride of place in the modern kitchen.
In a X (formerly Twitter) video Sinead also proudly showed off her black Martin Johnny Cash electro acoustic guitar on the wall and said she was going to write new songs.
She hinted that she would release a new album “next year” and “hopefully” start touring again, with dates in Ireland, the UK, Australia and New Zealand mooted in 2024 and 2025.
At the end of July, police were called to her home in the SE24 area of London, which covers Herne Hill and sits between Brixton and Dulwich. Notable SE24 residents include actors Mark Rylance, Olivia Colman and James Nesbitt.
