With 2021 getting off to a bumpy start you might be struggling to keep up with your Veganuary resolution.

But don't give up just yet as there are plenty of fabulous restaurants doing delicious vegan meals in Dublin

Veganism has officially gone mainstream as 30% of restaurants on Deliveroo offer at least one meat-free option on their menu which is up from 24% last year.

Additionally, vegan orders on the popular takeaway app shot up nearly 200% between 2019 and 2020.

So here we bring you a list of the top seven Dublin restaurants that serve amazing vegan food:

LEON

Dubbing itself ‘the Naturally Fast Food brand’ it comes as no surprise that LEON offers loads of tasty vegan options. Dubliners in need of a plant-based indulgence can order the 100% Vegan LoVe Burger, a beetroot soya patty topped with burger sauce, mustard mayo, tomatoes, pickles and a slice of smoked gouda-style vegan cheese. Why not add on a side of Vegan Cheezy Jack Bites while you’re at it?!

Yeeros

Yeeros, one of Dublin’s most popular Greek restaurants,is famous for its show-stopping ‘Yeeros Falafel’, a delicious vegan falafel served with hummus, beetroot mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion and chips.

Vegan Sandwich Co

Dublin based Vegan Sandwich Company’s ‘Chick*n Fillet Roll is ideal for anyone craving something meaty this veganuary. Who could resist a sourdough baguette filled with plain or spicy vegan chick*n and a combination of up to three salads?

Flip Vegan Burger Bar

Flip, a vegan and vegetarian burger bar from the owners of Blazing Salads, is one of Dublin’s vegan hot spots. Their burgers, which include black bean and quinoa, millet and sweet potato, and a sweetcorn and feta fritter, are handmade using organic grains, pulses, vegetables and seeds. Don’t mind if we do!

PI

Dubliner’s favourite pizza PI recently joined Deliveroo and if you’re not eating cheese, fear not - there are vegan friendly pizza’s on the menu. Try a classic Marinara or their Veganuary special the Vegate - made with crushed tomato, tomato tapenade, semi sun-dried tomatoes, mixed olives, baby figs, 12 year aged balsamic, garlic and fresh oregano.

Token

If dirty vegan food is your thing, Token in Dublin has plenty of it. Who said plant-based had to be boring? Tuck into their Vegan Nuggs with vegan garlic mayo or their take on the iconic spice-bag - a Vegan Spice Bag made with Chino-Irish crispy seitan, mixed veggies and spicy salt fries.

Tolteca

Mexican food lovers in Dublin and Galway can still enjoy their favourite burrito this month with Tolteca’s Vegan Burrito/ Bowl - featuring all the usual suspects but none of the animal products.
