Tributes have been paid to Dublin GAA 'gent' and 'colossus' Frank Brady after his death.
Frank was one of the first referees to oversee women's Gaelic football in the county in the 1980s. The Bohernabreena man was also a regular steward at Croke Park.
The Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Association confirmed on Facebook that Frank had passed away suddenly. They described him as a fervent supporter of women's football, and extended their sympathies to Frank and his family in their tribute post.

They wrote: "All in Dublin LGFA are saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Frank Brady. Frank was a colossus within Dublin GAA, a true Gael and gent.
"He was amongst the first group of referees to officiate LGFA football in Dublin back in the 80s and was a great supporter of women in sport within the GAA family. Our sincere sympathies go to his beloved family, his many friends in Dublin GAA and indeed all who knew Frank. Our thoughts are also with his club St Annes. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam."
Dublin GAA also paid tribute to Frank, writing: "Dublin GAA is saddened by the recent passing of Frank Brady. Frank was a life-long GAA member and played a big role in the growth of the games across Dublin over many decades.
"The St. Anne's clubman was Secretary of the Junior Football Board for many years and also served as a selector on the Dublin Junior Football team. A long-time referee himself, Frank later served as Referee’s coordinator - a role he continued until early last year.
"Dublin GAA pass on our deepest condolences to Frank’s family and friends. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam."
One person added on Facebook : "An absolute gent and a pleasure to know Frank, a fellow steward in Croker, he will be missed."
