Westlife's Mark Feehily has penned a heartfelt thank you to his fans for their encouragement amid his health battle.
The 43-year-old was forced to take a break this summer from Westlife's 'Wild Dreams' tour for an undisclosed surgery. Mark spent time in hospital while he recuperated and documented his progress for fans.
Mark's condition has improved in leaps and bounds over recent months. While the star admitted his recovery remains ongoing, he was able to make a triumphant return to the stage this September.

The Westlife performer is currently touring overseas with his band. Taking to Instagram, he thanked fans for supporting him amid a challenging chapter.
He wrote: "I was worried about being ready to make it back for the concerts in China in September but with a little sprinkle of passion and courage and mostly the support from loved ones and from you, I made it to the show."
The Sligo native admitted that pulling off dance moves has proved tricky on his road to recovery. However, Mark added he feels extremely grateful to have made a comeback in the first place.
He said: "I feel lucky to even be on the stage at all so even if I’ve missed a dance move here or there and am temporarily moving a bit slower than normal, believe me it has been quite the journey for me. I am delighted to say that the September - December leg of the Wild Dreams tour has been a tremendous success and we have enjoyed it immensely, with so many forever memories created."
Mark's health struggles began last winter after he was forced to pull out of Westlife's headline gig at Dublin's New Year's Eve festival. The star was diagnosed with pneumonia and cheered on bandmates Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan from his sick bed.
Westlife's 'Wild Dreams' tour will draw to a close for 2023 in India. The band will later embark on a string of North American gigs in March 2024.
